How long have you been a fan?

Since the early 90s, I believe. Drexler was still there. I can't pinpoint the date, but I remember one of my Uncles gave me a Blazers bumper sticker that I put in my room when I was young. I remember thinking Portland was a fantastical place so far from home that it must have been cool. I lived in rural Missouri with no team to support and I liked the allure of a city so far from home. I would later move to Portland for a brief time and attend my first NBA game.

Who is your current favorite player?

Right now it has to be Brandon Roy, but I really want it to be Greg Oden. I am excited by Oden, but until he turns into the beast I think he can be, I'm keeping my fragile, often-broke sports heart with No. 7.

Who is your All Time favorite player?

Dunno... maybe Pete Maravich. But Drexler is up there as well as Darryl Dawkins (for his Chocolate Thunder poster I had as a kid), Dr. J, and lots of current Blazers.

    What was your favorite moment?

As stupid as it sounds, probably the second the ping-pong balls gave us the #1 pick and the chance to pick Oden. No matter how it ends up that is when I was the most excited by the Blazers. I didn't follow closely enough when MJ was destroying us in the 90s and after that there are just a series of forgettable moments (and players)

How long have you been a fan? Mid-seventies

Who is your current favorite Blazer? Brandon

Who is your All Time favorite Blazer? Bobby Gross + Bill Walton

What was your favorite moment? 10th grade...being at game 6 NBA Finals - watching and being a part of Blazermania - as we beat a really talented 76'er team for the Championship!

Second: When Portland received the 1st selection of the NBA Draft last year - ODEN. Give this boy two years and we may see another Championship Team in Portland! I'm really liking Batum and Rudy thus far. I thin Roy is out of sync as is Aldridge. Team needs chemistry to form. Team also needs a different half-court offense sets. Having Oden continue to come out high to set screens is not the answer! Send Aldridge out to set screens (pick and roll) as he can shoot from outside! Keep the giant under the baskett at all times! Not 100% sold on Nate as coach - although it is not for disliking the guy...I just think we need an assitant coach to serve as Offensive Coordinator? if you will.

How long have you been a fan? Since 1971

Who is your current favorite player? Roy

Who is your All Time favorite player? Roy (his mental toughness seperates him from Drexler)

What was your favorite moment? The year before the Blazers won the title. It was the first NBA game I attended at Memorial Coliseum against the Warriors. Walton was not supposed to play, but I think after halftime Big Bill suited up and the Blazers went on to defeat the Warriors. I still recall the crowd going wild and stomping their feet. Good times. Hopefully those times return with titles.

How long have you been a fan? Since I moved to Portland in '98

Who is your current favorite player? Brandon Roy

Who is your All Time favorite player? Bill Walton .. I know it didn't last long here, but he did manage to get a title, and I always seemed to end up next to him at Dead shows...

What was your favorite moment? The 2006 draft! It was at that moment I felt we'd really turned a huge corner...away from the Jailblazer era. Roy, Aldridge, Sergio, Raef's contract (which we have yet to see the benefit of...but will!), etc.

    Re: Blazer Roll Call

How long have you been a fan?

Late 80s. I grew up within walking distance of Lewis & Clark College. Back in the day, Blazers used to practice there. I used to go to the gym when I was young and ask for signatures. I was younger then, but I don't remember a single player ever giving me the could shoulder. Duckworth was a super nice guy.

Who is your current favorite player?

    Roy.

Who is your All Time favorite player?

Drexler. THE nicest guy you'll ever meet.

    What was your favorite moment?

    Hasn't happened yet.

    Re: Blazer Roll Call

How long have you been a fan? Early 90's. I have strong and bittersweet childhood memories of the playoff runs in 90 and 92.

Who is your current favorite Blazer? Gotta be Brandon Roy. That guy is such a strong presence for the team and for the city.

Who is your All Time favorite Blazer? For nostalgia and overall career achievements, I'll have to go with Clyde. I do love this squad of '08, though -- ask again in three years and my answer may have changed...

What was your favorite moment? Those last few possessions in the Houston game this season was a spot-on example of why I watch this team and this game. Simply beautiful.

    Re: Blazer Roll Call

Been a fan since about '88 (Franz Bread Blazer trading cards of Clyde, Kiki, and Mo sucked me in at the tender age of 8).

Current favorite Blazer--I hate to be cliche, but it's Roy. So good, so classy, such a leader.

Favorite of all-time--Gotta be TP (for now)

Favorite Blazer moment--The only playoff game I've attended in person, 5-10-99 v Phoenix. Never experienced a sports atmosphere like the NBA playoffs.

    Re: Blazer Roll Call

been a fan as long as i can remember, im 32 so early 80s/late 70s.

brandon is my favorite current player, we'll see if he can surpass clyde when its all said and done.

my favorite moment isnt technically a blazer moment but when clyde was on houston he got ejected by jake o'donnell, got up in his grill and unintentionally spit all over jakes face. that led to jake being investigated by the league and getting kicked out of the nba. he admitted to having an ongoing hate for buck and clyde. it helped solidify my opinion that the refs are corrupt and we never got fair officiating, still dont.
