Wow, so much has been made about how we had the toughest opening five games EVER in the history of the NBA . . . and yet, here we are, at 5-3. And the kicker? Oden's played a total of 29 minutes all season! I, for one, am very, very pleasantly surprised! Also, looking ahead: NO will be a tough game but MIN we should beat (again). And then (I didn't even realize it until now) . . . they come to my neck of the woods to play Golden State!!! I'm going to have to look into getting some tickets; there's NO WAY they're sold out at this point! How amazing would it be to get away from this road trip at 4-1???
Orlando was trying to complete their first 5-0 homestand in franchise history... Miami was trying for its first 4-0 home start in franchise history...
I'm not going to get greedy - I won't feel terribly bad losing to NO but MIN and GSW we SHOULD beat at this point. So I'll "settle" for 4-1 on this roadie.
No way, we always lose the game right after the all star game. Plus, with our whole team starting for the West, we are going to be dog tired.
I wouldn't bet on it. Jazz fans thought the same thing in Washington tonight. Both Minnesota and GS play very well at home as do most teams. I will settle for 3-2
That only make the regular season acceptable. Salvaging the season must include 15 (or did the first series go back to four games - in which case 16) additional wins after the close of the regular season. Gramps...
So you're saying we're going to be a disappointing 78-4? That's unacceptable! I've been searching for tickets on the GSW website and man, when did bball tix get to be so expensive??? There was nothing worthwhile that was under $120 per! I mean IT'S IN OAKLAND man! I'm risking life and limb just going there . . . they should be paying me!!! WTF?
Well, we are going to average 80 regular season wins a year over the next 10 years so yes that would be disappointing.
