I think I like the longer one better myself, but maybe that's just me. All three have been very good though! I can't wait for the next one!
Eric, I know you have some pipes on you, you should write and sing some intro, get some friends to play the music.
Eric, I assume you have an agent.... get this on NBA.com or ESPN! I figure it will make a Truehoop appearance simply because Abbott is such a Blazer fan.
I've talked to NBA.com about it. We'll see what happens. If you know anyone at ESPN, please pass it on.
anyway they can be longer than 5 mins? Maybe talk about players who need a relocation, amazing performances, your top 5 power rankings(per week), top 5 mvp (week)
Good ideas MAS. Thanks. I will incorporate them. You really think I should talk for longer than 5 minutes? Do others have a say on that? I could certainly go longer if people are going to listen. Maybe I could do a big show every other week or something like that. One thing that sucks is that sometime the sound doesn't sync with the video and then I have to do it all over again. But I guess that means I get a good rehearsal. So what do you all think? More or less than 5 minutes?
ok eric, I've got one that combines all your interests. There has been a broadway show about baseball (Damn Yankees), and even a broadway show about roller derby (Starlight Express), but as far as I know there has never been a broadway show about basketball. In fact, the only basketball reference I can think of in a musical is the character Ritchie in "A Chorus Line" ("Gimme the Ball, Gimme the ball, Gimme the Ball, Yeah!"). If you were asked to write a basketball-themed broadway musical, what would it be about? [feel free to break it down by each Act!] --dumpy
