http://www.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/55411/20081113/scott_wouldnt_mind_coaching_lakers/ Maybe after Phil retires? Granted I want to see Shaw coach some.
i would love to have him come back to L.A. after phil retires, and i dont see anyone else out there that would make much sense to be the next coach of the Lakers
We tried Rambis before, I don't think he had much success. Obviously more experience probably would've helped him, but I'd prefer Brian Shaw, just because I've actually seen him play as a Laker, on live TV! I love B-Shaw Anyways, if Scott somehow became available when Phil decides to call it quits, I'd take him over either any day of the week. He has more coaching experience, and a lot more success than either. He's proven he can be a good coach in the league, something Rambis and Shaw haven't done.
^If I had to choose between Rambis and Shaw I would pick Rambis...I think the last few times Phil has been out he has done a decent job. I think Phil is sort of grooming him for the job by appointing him as our defensive coach
Just as long as the Triangle isnt completely forgotten... id take a coach of scott's caliber... shaw would also be a very good replacement (i hope)
