13-20 65% hard to hate those numbers, but I guess it's easy to hate Travis. Go figure Blazer fans hating one of our own. Reminds me of Detroit Lion fans, at least they have a reason to hate.
ha ha anyways, he only went 3-5 tonight from deep. So his overall percentage dropped to 65% it's over, he's in a free fall STOMP
not too bad! if he can keep it around 45% for the season, ill eat my hat though. i have an edible hat so its no big deal, i made it out of taco meat.
Obviously, he won't shoot 60% on the season. No one does. But I expect him to finish 38-42% which is pretty good.
Yep. Jarrett Jack last year; Outlaw this year. Neither deserve(d) the irrational criticism they receive from some posters here and on BBF in the past.
Yup, one of the reasons I couldn't stand BBF, hopefully people here won't be so damn irrational and cranky. Travis is one of the best players in the NBA off of the bench. He and Rudy really make this team go when they step on the court. He is the most well liked player in the locker room and so clutch.
I have not been a fan of Travis but he is playing great and making me darn glad he is on our team. He belongs on the second team and between he and Rudy (with Sergio passing out assists), that second team can be very energetic and exciting. Gramps...
He's #2 going into tonight's game: http://www.nba.com/statistics/playe...itScope=GAME&qualified=Y&yearsExp=-1&splitDD=
Hawes is currently 0-2 from the three point line tonight. That means..... Travis Outlaw is THE best three point shooter in the league.
outlaw was only 1-4 tonight. no wonder thread hasnt been bumped it will be interesting to see where he shoots this year. he obviously isnt going to stay over 50% so we'll see
Trout fell to 5th. He should stay in the top 10-15 in the league through the year. Last year, 10th in the league shot 43%. #1 shot 48%. So a lot of numbers to shake down between now and then. iWatas
He's obviously not going to shoot 60% for the whole season. Never been done. Won't happen. But I think he can shoot 38-42 at least. Maybe more. We'll see. The title of this thread still rings true though. Travis Outlaw IS one of the best three point shooters in the league. 14 of 24 is very impressive.
The way Travis has improved each year. Jumping to 40% last year from 27% the year before, I expect Travis will be over 40% with many more attempts than the 100 last year. I wish I would stop reading all those trade Travis posts. With his contract he's a bargain and there are only 2 or 3 players on this team that will play more minutes than Outlaw.
