Anyone watch the Warriors vs. Pistons last night? Detroit used an unconventional lineup with 3 guards and Prince playing point-center. It created a lot of mismatches and the Piston guards did a lot of scrambling on defense to disrupt the Warriors in the post. Iverson was like a free safety shooting the passing lanes and cheating off his man to go for blind side steals.

I'm expecting the Lakers to play more halfcourt sets in this game if Detroit uses this lineup. The Lakers will need to slow the game down and pound the ball inside to take advantage of their size.

The Lakers have lost 3 out of 4 in this matchup.

I'm looking forward to seeing Kwame get embarrassed by Andrew Bynum. If Kwame plays a lot minutes I think Bynum could have a 10 block game.

i know we're talking about kwame brown... but don't you think that he's played at least a little well in the minutes he's been given? he only played 9 minutes, i don't know how bynum would just go off like that for 10 blocks, specifically against the pistons anyway. I'm not sure if the pistons are at the point chemistry wise to beat the lakers, but they're definitely looking better out there, and are starting to experiment with the different options that Iverson brings to this team.

ya i mean, he is a garbage player. and i'm sure after watching him play for the pistons i'll feel the same way. but i at least have to be excited about his play in the absence of McDyess. the pistons need some toughness inside.

Well Kwame has been capable of fluke game. And his fluke games are actually pretty damn good ones.

I'm not sure how long Kwame stays on the court tonight. He has a bad habit of picking up two quick fouls in a few minutes. Kwame is an underrated defender in the post, because of his size, quickness, and strength. He's tough to move around, but Bynum has the footwork, long arms and use of both hands to finish around the rim. Plus he's familiar with Kwame from going at him in practice the last couple of seasons. Bynum should be able to abuse in the low block.

Lakers are tough to defend because all 5 starters are capable of hitting open baskets. They force teams to either play zone or they force difficult one-on-one matchups in the post or on the perimeter.

Should be a competitive game, but the Pistons no longer matchup well against the Lakers.
