    Well, this matchup is still between elite teams from their respective conferences. Like Shape said before, the Pistons no longer matchup well against the Lakers. In another thread, we talked about the Pistons running small ball on us, and that is dangerous cause we have had tendencies to give up a ton of turnovers. So that is something to watch out for. I still think we win though.

    Don't mind me asking...but who's going to stop our frontcourt? Bynum and Gasol should be able to have their ways against 'Sheed and Maxiell/Johnson.

    Last night they used Tayshaun Prince to defend Andris Biedrins, maybe they use him on Gasol tonight and Sheed on Bynum.

    I agree though, our size advantage in this matchup is overwhelming. Also without Billups the Pistons are going to have a tough time checking Kobe on the perimeter.

    Lakers will be focused to win this game and Detroit should be a little ragged after playing late last night and then leaving to come down here to LA from the Bay Area.

    Our offense is there, its our defense. Stuckey and AI is getting past our guards EASY, and Detroits bigs (which in this case in this game is Tayshaun and Sheed) are getting open shots, which they are making. I haven't seen them make a challenged shot yet, except AI on Jordan.

    We need more passing, alot of our offense right now is from the first guy who gets the ball driving into the lane. Also defensively, we need to stay in front of the Detroit guards, cause Detroit is getting alot of open jumpshots and threes and that is what is killing us right now.
