I like Bynum. He's a very solid (true) Center. But watching Bynum this season I have learned the guy is not explosive at all. He uses his length for boards and blocks, but he gets off the ground very slowly.
I meant in the NBA "Lakers= average. If we played the Clippers twice, we'd have 7 wins too. " Try destroying the Rockets, a so called championship contender. And beating the Hornets, another so called championship contender on a back to back after defeating the Mavericks.
Let's see: Rockets... average. They've got too many "ballers" and only one ball. Hornets... gotta give the Lakers props (puke), they beat a quality team that night. Mavericks? BAHAHAHAHAHA you are joking right? They flat-out SUCK this year. The Clippers comment is completely deserved. The Lakers get 5 freebees every year.
Excuses excuses. Love the shit you guys are talking though. Wake me up when you guys actually do something this decade. So I'm guessing the only top team in the league this year is the Celtics right? Okay, they have already lost to the Pacers, and lost to the Nuggets earlier today. So I guess if you want to judge by one game, they suck too.
KingSpeed is right for once...getting punked is exactly what happened...we went back to the Kobe offense and the ole defense
Getting "punked" happens to every team in the season. Doesn't mean we're "average." What do you want us to do. Go undefeated?
Just for the record, I'm going to blame any bad things that befall the Blazers on Kingspeed for accumulating all of this bad karma.
Yes, it happens to every team. I remember when the 1995-96 Bulls (that went 72-10) got punked by the Knicks by like 30 points. They actually got punked by the Sonics twice in the Finals too. It happens. When I think of a true "punking," though, I think of the 39 point punking the Cs put on these Lakers a few months ago. I also remember when the Blazers punked the Lakers in Game 2 of the 2000 WCFs. 106-77. I was there. Great game.
You can't say ANYTHING about the Celtics. They're the defending champs and they shoved the Finals down the Lakers' throat in June, coming back from a 24 pt deficit in one game and blowing them out by 39 points in another.
When I think of a true "punking," I remember the Lakers coming back from a 15 point deficit against the Blazers, winning Game 7, en route to 3 consecutive championships. Thanks guys for choking! Give credit where credit is due. The Celtics are a great team, and put a butt whooping on us in the FInals last year. Unfortunately, it's two different teams. Last year, we didn't have a true center, this year we do. Last year, Pau was playing out of position, this year he isn't. Last year, only Kobe, Fish, and Lamar had experience out of the first round, this year, we're more seasoned. I think this will go differently this year for us.
