Yeah, I watched this episode on Sportsnet also. It was pretty gross. These guys have waaaay too much free time.
It sucks that John the Hugger lost, but he just wasn't able to avoid the takedowns. Dana White was pretty upset about the decision, and I can understand why, but at the end of the day of course the guy that controlled the position of the fight for a majority of it is going to get the win. I also think it was in poor judgement to have been throwing the eggs and stuff at the guys in the hot tub. They did that just because they knew that Junie was going to react the way he did. In Junies defense though, if you throw some eggs at me like that, I'm probably going to react close to the same way. I'm hoping for a Vinnie/Bader, Phillipe/Efrain for TUF finals.
that was a pretty funny show. "You know why we're drinking to peace?? because we want peace" and lol at john getting pissed at his marshmallows going missing from his lucky charms.. Dude's one heck of a character.. but his zero ground skills after training with Nogeuira... not so cool. Props to Roop for winning this fight with one hand. I agree, this fight should have been a 3 rounder cause John won the second round. Roop got a takedown and that scores, but he did nothing on the ground and John had him in trouble several times with his striking. I think we'll see Junie vs Nover and Bader vs Krzstof in the finals.
Sucked not having an episode last week. These two semi-finals fights coming up on Wednesday are the less interesting ones of the four, but should still provide a solid hour of entertainment. In the next two weeks we have two sets of semi-finals and the TUF Finale, the WEC card, and UFC Fights for the Troops. Nice chunk of MMA for the diehards leading into the X-mas break (and UFC 92!).
Dude, there's two espiodes on tonight.. all 4 semi-final fights are happening! next wednesday is the Fight for the Troops
