i am as disgusted as anyone in here....a couple things I picked up on last night

a.) why did the rockets keep feeding the ball to tmac late in the game....it was obvious he wasn't on
b.) ron was on, so why not give him the ball in the post
c.) i love aaron brooks but he can't be the guy taking most of the shots.....this is probably why he's not a starter
d.) tmac has finally reached the point where he has no heart and no knees....at least he used to be able to get by on his athletic ability, but now that is all gone.
e.) PATHETIC defense in the 4th quarter.....who the hell is George Hill and why was he kicking our ass????..........Answer, because we're the houston rockets, and that's what happens to us.

In conclusion I know it's early on in the season, but I just don't see it right now.....and I honestly don't know what you can do about it. This team has just about everything you need, but they lack the effort and focus on a nightly basis, which is why I wouldn't be surprised if it's another first round exit this year.....................

seriously how the hell do you lose against a spurs team with no parker and manu who have been playing bad this season??????

We didn't score in the last 5 minutes of the game. In that span, I think T-Mac took and missed 2 shots. One of them was one of those contested jumpers off the dribble. The other was a good shot for him, a runner in the lane. Brooks missed, I think, 3 or 4 shots down the stretch. Yao had a costly turnover. Landry screwed up guarding the PnR and gave up 2 Bonner 3-pointers. Brooks did a poor job containing George Hill's penetration, and Yao did not protect the basket like we expect him to. Offensively, I think offense bogs down without an extra floor-spacer on the perimeter who can knock down catch-and-shoot 3-pointers. Neither Artest or McGrady are comfortable in that role. McGrady is our best passer off the dribble, so when he's right we can rely on his playmaking abilities. But he wasn't able to get separation on his drives.

So, the loss can be blamed on a lot of people. McGrady played poorly, no question, but it's not all on him.

T-Mac HAS to play consistently. How the hell do you score 2,3,27, and now 7 points? You are the superstar of the team! You have to be consistent for your team to win and make shots down the stretch. Artest shows up this game, but wtf. Why can't everyone play to the best of their abilities every single game and play with all their heart?
