    How does a tie actually occur? I'm not that familiar with NFL ruling but like do they call a tie after the first OT or what?

    Yea...could someone explain to me how Donovan McNabb didn't know about ties? That rule has been in place for what...40 years? Either that's wondrous ignorance on his part or sheer stupidity on the coaching staffs part for not making sure he's aware of it. Or a combination of both.
