It was interrupted by a three game hiatus, but over his last three games, Devin Harris is averaging 33.7 PPG in roughly 38.5 minutes per game. Over those three games, he has hit 26 of 47 from the field--a 55% clip. And get this: He has also attempted a total of 50 free throws and hit 45 of them, which is outrageous. Add in a 20:3 assist-to-TO ratio, five steals, and just under five rebounds per game, and you have a monster.

A 6'3" Allen Iverson who actually goes to practices!!! All kidding aside, there is something else here: he is in the first year of a five year contract. No options, team or player...straight five years...and in none of those years does he make $10 million. He could become one of the great bargains of the NBA, if he keeps this up.

I would love for him to develop his jumper a bit more, but of course not to the point where he stops driving.

Boy has he exploded. From a really disappointing preseason to some so-so games early, he suddenly just clicked, very much like he did in the first game he played for the Nets. He's letting it all hang out, taking smart risks, and using his assets to their fullest.

I'm smelling player of the week honors, at a minimum.

I'm still not sure what to expect from him, but right now it seems that the sky is the limit. I haven't seen any other defender lock him down, or be faster than he is. I think under this new system for him he is exploding right before our eyes. He could be the next nash or parker. BTW, the coach of the spurs said he plays the best defense of all the point guards in the west. He can be labeled as a pleasant surprise this season along with ryan anderson and lopez in part.

Can't be the system. The coach is too stupid to do anything that would make any player better. Get real.

They have a great early schedule. Four of their wins have come against Memphis, OKC, Charlotte, and Washington. Those teams combine for an 8-28 record.

Lucky for them though... playing a schedule like that helps build confidence and can build some momentum.

Coach Frank? Who? Oh, you mean that guy...who was voted in high school as "Most likely to get overpaid for a job in which he sits and does nothing"! He's not a real coach. You mean Coach Harris...who basically does whatever the hay he wants out there on the court.

He's got years to go before we can call him Iverson, but ok.

He should be an all-star this year. I definably didn't expect him to be this good this year.
