I understand where Scott is coming from, but he basically just said that Mike James' playing time is not guaranteed to him, its on a quarter to quarter basis. Anytime you say something like that it makes the player either nervous or angry. I don't really agree with the way that Scott handled the situation or that he went to the media about it at all.
James is getting his minutes tonight. Almost looked like he played more than CP3, but still all he did was dribble way too much, then miss forced shots.
I'm amazed that Scott is acting surprised, lol..........has he not paid attention to mike james throughout his career???....dude isn't a pg, because he has a score first mentality..............At times that can be good, but he does get into situations where he starts jacking up way too many shots...............I'll never forget when we had James in '05 and we were playing at home against Dallas in the 4th quarter. James was jacking up so many bad shots with Yao and (at that time) a great Tmac on the floor. It go so bad that one time tmac was bringing the ball up, when Mike put out his hands for a pass....Tmac looked at him like "man is you crazy??!?!?!?" while waving him to get down the floor..........It was so damn funny........
Sigh.. oh Scotty... I could've told you that. The Rockets chose Rafer Alston over James. RAFER FRICKIN ALSTON... should've told you something..
