I'm kind of frustrated at the lack of touches Bynum has been getting offensively. Same with Pau. A lot of times, our perimeter guys, Kobe and Fish, just don't look for them at all. Fisher especially. He shouldn't be looking for his own shot, instead, as the veteran point guard, he should know that running the ball through the bigs is ideal. This has been a problem since last season, and I'm hoping they're working to fix this problem in practice.

Anyways, I can't say enough about Bynum. His presence alone has taken us up multiple notches defensively. His offensive game will come along though, still waiting on that sky-hook that he's been working on, for what, four years now?

Past two games Kobe has been really disappointing as far as being the leader on the floor.. From the 4th quarter with the Mavericks (besides the that lucky 3 i mean) to the game with the Pistons.

I would like to believe Kobe is getting smarter and maturing every year, and for the most part he has, but god damn man, sometimes he looks like 2005 Kobe out there. I dunno what needs to be done, if it's Phil's responsibility or not, but someone needs to remind him that's Pau and Bynum out there not Kwame and Smush. We got some REAL players, let's use everyone effectively and efficiently.

And fisher? Don't get me wrong, Love the guy, but quit chucking them up if you ain't making them, and don't even GET me started on those lay ups.

I've been saying it since the start of the year--feed Bynum. Him and Pau don't get many touches; they need more.

Bynum only had 4 touches last night until late in the game. I know Pau was beasting, but Bynum shouldn't have been more involved with the offense. The Bulls didn't have anyone to match up with him and everytime Bynum fought for position the ball got swung to the opposite direction. It's still only been 9 games though, and hopefully they work on more plays for Bynum to keep him involved on the offensive end. He's really efficient in the post and can draw a lot of fouls on the opposing front court if the Lakers used him more consistently. He's not afraid to just plow in, get fouled and shoot free throws.

I posted this in the game thread but no one said anything so I'll ask again.

Is it me or does Bynum seem reaaaally unmotivated out there? His body language just gives off a really bad vibe and energy imo. I think something's bothering him, he doesn't have that fire right now.

And his bitching is at an all-time high, I wish someone would tell that boy to quit crying after the foul calls. Same goes for Lamar (though he had a couple legitimate gripes on a couple of those calls)

No, I dont think he is unmotivated, just unsure. He is getting back in the flow and EVERYONE is trying to figure out how to maximize their roles. He doesnt want to get in peoples way on offense. He isnt getting that many attempts that could play into him not constantly going hard for good position. I also think he needs time to get his conditioning back to 100%. He has consistently fallen off in the 2nd half of games (except for last night I think).

If its none of what I mentioned...then blame Halo...dude is addicted

He's doing a great job on the defensive end and he does get after offensive rebounds. I noticed he does get deflated when he establishes position and the team doesn't get him the entry pass for him to score.

I imagine he's still a little uncomfortable playing with Gasol because they both like to operate in the post.
