    They could tone it down a bit by turning the feathers from silver to white.

    A huge improvement over the cheeezy diamond plate design.

    If you watched the game, they didn't really stand out that much. The flash from the camera really brought them out in that pic. They are black, but just a different material.

    I don't watch college football, but how do the backs look? Cause if the back was plain (outside of the number and name) you could put the feathers on back, although that kind of throws that towards the angel direction.
