Sucks for Odom. I understand where he's coming from. It's his contract year, what better time to have your role reduced and be demoted to the bench? Anyways, hopefully this won't be a huge distraction, I'm just guessing it's the stir of the moment thing, due to the loss. As for Lamar's impact, if he really becomes a problem (which he won't), he's easily replaceable. He hasn't really contributed that much for us in our seven wins, and I don't think we'll see that much of a drop off in contribution, say if we traded him and signed McDyess... (just a thought)

Bite your tongue! Trade him for McDyess? Heck no. (EDIT: read your post wrong) but I wouldn't trade Lamar, I really would love him to stay a Laker.

<3 Lamar, and he needs to stop worrying about his contract year and go out there and help us win ballgames.. If he plays his hardest out there in the minutes he gets, he will get a good contract.. His outlook right now should be on the team's success and not individual success cuz if the Lakers don't win a 'ship this year, things won't look good for Lamar.

You'd think the team lost 10 straight reading that article. At least Odom is showing some emotion out there. I don't think you can connect Odom being frustrated in the game with him being frustrated with his role on the team. He's been the leader of our bench and it's arguably the best in the league right now.

He needs to step up with Radman injured now.

Kobe must be an idiot too...he gets them ALL the time...don't even try to defend that one.

Frustration fouls happen. I rather a player show emotion out there instead of not give a shit and come to work, take his paycheck, and go home.

The game was pretty much out of reach when Odom committed those fouls. I can't recall him making a frustration foul anytime recently that has cost us a game.

Well Kobe is an idiot at times...dont even try to defend that one :devilwink:

Vlad is the king of frustration fouls...thay are a major pet peeve of mine. There are plenty of ways to show emotion without harming your team. Its a triple whammy... points, a team foul, and a foul on the player...all for stupidity, not trying to make a actual play

hahaha, you won't get me defending that one as much as I <3 kobe.

Anyways, do you mean Vlad or Odom? Think you meant Odom.

One thing that still amazes me is how Odom draws the charging foul so often. I mean, jeezus, come on Lamar, after a while, ADJUST!

Actually I went on a tangent...I did mean Vlad. Just got to think of frustration fouls in general and he does them the most by far on our team. Also the king of jacking up some half ass shot when he sees his replacement walking to the scorers table

Yeah that's true, as soon as you said it, I pictured in my head Vlad's face walking back to the other side of the court from a frustration foul call, LOL
