He looked good in the Olympics but from what I've seen of him in the preseason, he has a long way to go until he's a serviceable player in the NBA. I mean, Carl Landry, who's 6-8, blocked him straight up on a jumper. Haddadi's gotta learn to use his height to his advantage and not fade away from shorter defenders, and to make his release point on the shot higher. He also looks weak and can't box out well, that doesn't translate well in a division with Yao, Duncan, David West and Chandler.
He has been playing well defensively and getting rebounds in the pre-season. He might turn out to be a good, cheap pick up.
Memphians.. haha sounds a lot better than what I said. I don't think he's gonna make the rotation... ever. He's better off in Europe. Haven't seen him too much, but seems like he'll max out as a Bradley type of player at best, being routinely destroyed by the likes of Howard, Oden, and even Yao.
