Man, I love Tmac and would love nothing more than to see him eliminate the Lakers in the WCF. As long as there aren't any distractions and all the Rockets can buy into winning rather than stats (as the Celtics did last year) I don't see any reason why they can't challenge for a championship this year.

There he goes again, putting everything unnecessarily on his shoulders. Anyway I still love you man. Go T-mac! Go Rockets!

He's lucky he's a Rocket. I never liked Tmac since his Toronto days, and especially not in his Orlando days. For a player with so much to prove, he sure talks too damn much!

So please please please PLEASE STOP TALKING! You look dumber and dumber every time you open your mouth.

I'd rather watch Luther dribble the ball than listen to Tmac talk.

T-Mac says a lot of stuff, often contradictory. In one moment, he'll say how relieved he is that he doesn't have to be at his best for us to win. Then he'll say something like this -- we go as far as he can take us. It's like he's trying to convince the media that he's still willing to take responsibility for what happens. I think he has good intentions, but he just sets himself up for criticism with it.

I'm tired of this shit from McGrady. He said the exact same thing 2 years ago. He needs to prove that he can be a consistent leader on this team. Sometimes he plays so lazy it seems as if he doesn't even want to get out of the first round. He needs to get some agressiveness in him. And he needs to prove he can do something before saying it. I'm tired of all these comments from McGrady.

looks like he cant take us to the championships since we lost to boston.

i keed, its sucks that he has to get into game shape DURING the first month of wat should be a very competitive season. and the rox also have a tough november, like they always do. but we dont rely on tmac as much as before.

he did good vs boston. ray allen fouled out tryna guard tmac and tmac had 0 fouls. not bad at all. im not worried one bit about tmac other than his healthy obviously. of all the seasons to play 70+ games, why wouldnt he choose this one?

    were gonna ball

First good game for him this season (vs Suns), let's hope it's the first of many.. of course, that's if he's even motivated. I'm starting to believe that if we go past the first round, it's done despite Tmac. However if we fail, it's because of him.

He has so much talent, but not enough motivation. He only shows up when he wants to. I would rather have a slightly above average 2 who can play Adelman's style of ball who gives it his all, than a Tmac who half asses most of the time.

If only Tmac has Yao's heart (and intelligence). Yao doesn't have too much to work with, but that guy gives it his all every game.

Tracy does seem to cruise along alot. I mean just look at his facial expressions, there is hardly any emotion, and he smiles way too much during a compeitive game, even when he is losing. When Tracy plays bad, I wish we had Rudy Gay. I mean I know we got Shane for Rudy, but having Ron gives us a tough nosed defender. In the past, we have given away Rudy Gay and Richard Jefferson, right after or during the draft. I also wonder about how Donte Greene would be if he had minutes.

If Tracy doesn't pick it up to a consistent level by midseason, I'd start looking for a new 2 guard. Gerald Wallace is on the block, but he isn't exactly an offensive stud. He's more defense plus hustle.

That quote should've said, "The Rox are gonna go far in spite of my distractions"

For someone so emotionally and physically brittle he sure talks a whole lot of smack.

I don't read that quote as him pumping himself up. That's the reality of the situation. The Rockets need T-Mac playing at a high level if they're to be successful in the playoffs (which is true). And if the Rockets do not succeed, ultimately responsibility for that loss will be put on him (also true).

Well if he's right, then we all should look forward to another 1st round bump. The season just started and he's already injured. I just wish the Rox organization could SEE that our "leaders" are never gonna be healthy and should look for other options. Banking on health is not working. It hasn't been working for years.

As good as McGrady was 50 years ago in Orlando and his first season as a Rox.. he's not gonna even come close to that level again. His consistent whining isn't helping either.

Hopefully if things don't work out in the playoffs, Morey will make some major roster moves. Or maybe I'm just talking too soon, I may be wrong. It's just so damn frustrating having to root for a team whose stars are ALWAYS injured.

I think if things aren't looking good by midseason, then look for some shakeups. I think we keep Ron, we won't trade him, plus he's a one year rental, unless we want to make that long term commitment to him. This summer there are some big names out there this summer.

Interesting tangent: What if all we had was Yao, took one year of bad play, and made a play at someone like LeBron or someone else from the 2010 free agent class? I mean Yao is a big center, and that could be tempting. Keep Scola, Brooks, Landry, Battier around, and we could look tempting for some people.

That would be tempting. Not gonna happen tho. But if it were to happen, shit I might even come out of retirement and try out for the team. me-Yao-Lerbon trio would kill.

If things don't go well, you can count on Tmac being the first one out. He might even go back to Orlando, his old stomping ground.. where he can piss and whine along side of Howard and Turkeyglue.

It just sucks to be a Rockets fan because you never know what's going to happen in the season and all these damn injuries. It just gets so frustrating sometimes that you want to trade your star players, but at the same time, you don't.

It's frustrating cause once an injury occurs, our season starts to go downhill. And when the injury is this soon, well shit, it hurts a tad.
