here is our salary as it currently stands... here would be the salary in the mentioned hinrich trade (hinrich and simmons for raef and sergio)... Here is a rough idea of our offseason cap space with no moves being made... this is assuming we decline the player option on Blake, and Waive Frye and Diogu. Here is a rough idea of our offseason cap space after the afformentioned Hinrich trade, with the same assumptions regarding Blake, Frye, and Diogu. and here is where the shit really hits the fan, a 10 game return by Darius Miles. and a miles return with the assumed Blake/Frye/Ike moves... If miles stays off the books, we can make this trade and still have 15.58 million in cap room, basically enough to max out another player, or sign 2 great vets. we can also just gamble on free agency, and hope Miles stays out, and have 23.5 million in cap room. If Miles comes back we would still have 14.5 million in cap room just by staying put. i can send this spreadsheet to anyone who wants it. and i forgot shav randolph on purpose so suck it.
