    Although knowing a few AP writers, wouldn't be surprised if it was greg.beacham@ap.com

    Interestingly, the Statesman Journal ran the AP article the same way online but edited out "obvious" in the print version.

    After a night to sleep on it, it still was a bogus call, but the fact remains that the Blazers did everything in their power to lose the game and left it in the hands of the refs -- 20 turnovers and sending GS to the line 35 times clinched the thing. Hopefully there's no hangover tonight in the Rose Garden, and G.O. and LMA are able to feed off the energy of the home crowd without it having the opposite effect and cause them to try and do too much.
