I never liked him too much, because he wouldn't show what water he was drinking until they were paying him to show it, but now this just makes me think he doesn't have a high MMA IQ. There is very few fighters I'd watch over Machida.
The feeling that Franlin has is mutual with a lot of fans and fighters. Machida does not put people in seats. He is very elusive and doesn't have very man exciting fights.
just watching ufc unleashed and the machida sokoudjou fight is on and I was just noticing that Machida's mannerisms in the ring remind me a lot of Anderson Silva. Its just that I don't think Machida is as explosive as the Spider so people dont see him as being that exciting, but hes a good fighter.
I don't like guys that never take chances to finish fights.. Machida, unlike Kenny Folorian, doesn't finish fights.. he wins decisions. It's not a style most ppl like. You can be aggressive without being reckless IMO.
