I watched the game this morning on tivo. I must say, the Warriors shot the ball well to start but with that said, the following stuck out to me.

    1. Aldridge has something very wrong with him and it didnt start tonight. Hopefully he can fix it soon.

    2. How many open threes did Morrow make before we covered him in the corner?

    3. Turning point in the game was when the backup PG for GS came in the game and destroyed us. Not so much scoring but he got them moving.

    4. Oden played "ok" not as bad as henry abbot made it sound but did hurt us at times.

    5. Refs killed us. It was almost a joke on how many times we were called for fouls.

    6. Frye needs to be traded asap. I pray that when webster comes back, Outlaw is the new backup PF. Frye is useless unless he hits his little 20ft jumper and its seems that more often then not he misses. Outlaw at least doesnt look like a deer in headlights.

    7. I said all last year that teams with players like Golden St kill us. AKA Stephen Jackson, Kevin Martin, ETC. The reason? Nobody can defend them on this team. Teams like Golden State will score 100 every time against us. Nelson went with lots of guards/swingmen and killed us. We dont match up well vs those type of teams. A good coach knows that.

    8. Roy is an underated defensive player. Maybe the only guy we have that plays defense.

    9. Anyone else cringe when Outlaw has the ball, dribbles, puts his head down then badly misses?

    10. Ive come to realize our post season hopes will come down to having a better record then GS, SA and Dallas. Two will make it out of the four. If we dont improve our defense drastically...we are done. Still live and die by the jumpers/3's! Oden helps but travels almost every other time he has the ball down low.

we blew them out at home last year mainly with defense, so it can be done. joel has always played really well against GS.

Good thoughts, I agree with you on most of them. Particularly this one I quoted. Outlaw gets passed the ball, he's open for a 3-pointer. So he dribbles in once or twice until the defender gets on him and takes a contested fadeaway. This is a common occurence, and almost always a miss. I'm really getting tired of it. He just needs to shoot the ball initially. It's not like he can't hit a 3.

I'm not saying he should never put the ball on the floor. I'm just sick of him passing up open 3s for contested 2s.

Agree 100%. He was a spark plug off the bench last season when this team lacked scoring. Now he's just taking shots away from better players and missing most of them as well. Hell at least give Ike some run.

Batum, Oden, Przybilla and Bayless (even though he doesn't play) are good defenders.
