    Excellent trade. Ramirez had a sub-par 2007, but in 06 and 08 he was filthy. He adds a good piece to the pen, and we shed Coco's salary to help pursue another free agent. What a trade.

    wow that all KC got for Ramirez? no wonder they suck every year they traded a good young reliever that got great stuff for a overpaid sucky OF...hell of a trade for Boston thou they get a good arm in the pen to move Masterson to rotation

    I think this is a bad trade for KC, they gave up too much to get Crisp who has a big salary and was going to get traded soon anyway. Ramirez is a good reliever, I just think he could command more elsewhere.
