We officially have no offense. What happened to all those plays that we were running at the beginning of the year where Gordon took some shots off screens? This is just Vinny praying that Rose or Gordon save the day. This isn't an offense.

Yeah, I walked into the playoffs quote didn't I.

I think Tyrus and Noah are playing Gooden into a longer term gig here. Even if we make a trade we really need to increase the number of bigs we have, not hold even.

Wow, anyone else catch Michael Ruffin very intently twiddling his thumbs on the bench? I could have sworn he was texting someone but then the angle changed and apparently he just had an interesting scab or something.

Not only are they making Gooden look good in comparison, they are going to get him a raise.

As bad as Tyrus has played, Lamarcus Aldridge still hasn't shown me anything that would make me question taking TT over him. Maybe he just plays poorly against the bulls, but it seems like his game is even more quiet than Deng's.

So his 18/8 last year or 16/7 this year aren't enough to convince you that we made the wrong choice?

Ty Thomas has done next to nothing so far as a Bull. I won't go so far to call him a total bust, but he could really start teetering on that fine line if he doesn't shape up and play to his so-called potential.

He's a total bust and needs to be removed from the team one way or another. Keeping a failed top pick like Thomas around for an extended amount of time is just depressing.

Meh, to each their own. I still think he could develop in to a good player, he's just not in the right system for that to happen here.

I think he needs to be in a fast-break oriented system where he could use his athleticism...somewhere like Atlanta or Denver, where they look to push the tempo.

I am back from the game, I am a Portland fan but also a Rose fan. Tough game for you guys tonight - but that Rose kid is going to be something special once he gets a couple of years under his belt.

FWIW - I am not buying the entire "we have a huge advantage over Portland in the backcourt" argument. It just does not happen until you have someone that can bring it night in night out like Roy does - and Rose will get there - but he is still a rookie. Take your time - even on his tough night - you could see he is fast as hell.

He shot like 25 3's at half time. My bud and I were cracking up. Then he misses the short put backs and FT's in the second half. I am so glad you guys took him.
    The dude suck.

Tyrus Thomas is an atheltic player with lots of promise from LSU
Stromile Swift is an atheltic player who never realised his promise from LSU

    see the correlation there???

That's what I said before the draft, saying we should draft Aldridge. Too many Bulls fans got in line behind Tyrus in overwhelming numbers.

Thomas doesn't have too many good basketball attributes. He can't shoot, he can't dunk in traffic, he can't dunk one handed, he has no inside game, he's an average rebounder, an above average shotblocker, a crappy defender, and an overall idiot. It's time to just get rid of this guy before he embarassed himself more.

I should put that in context. The bulls were swinging for the fences with that pick, and it looks now like they popped out to the second basemen. I just don't feel like Aldridge is that good, or better than Gooden, who the bulls could easily resign next year. The real miss was Roy. A Rose/Roy, or even a Hinrich/Roy backcourt would be pretty good right now.

    Seriously didn't expect that.

Good luck the rest of the season. Sadly in the east you have a better chance of making the playoffs than Portland does in the west.
