Whaa...? I'm pretty sure it's because I find a hobo and stab him to death before the game and then again at halftime. If not, I'm bringing a shitload of trouble my way for absolutely no reason.

    Outlaw's dunk was #1 on ESPN's top 10.

After giving them Jordan, I don't feel a bit bad for Bulls' fans.

I am back from the game. I need to take my wife to games more often - every time I do it - the Blazers build a huge first quarter lead and blow the game away (last year it was GSW).

This team is going to be so scary good...

back from the game. Great victory. Crowd was fantastic as usual. Section 222 rocks.

Anyone notice that outlaw was hit by one of those golf balls during the timeout?

Ahhh, your vaunted power rankings . . . this is the precise ranking system that the NBA is going to implement BCS style to name a league champ and completely do away with the playoff system, right? Last I heard you comment about it, Portland was third to last?

I was watching the game by myself and started talking to myself. "Blake is really playing well." Then Sergio came in and I said to myself, "self, this kid is playing really well and he is controlling the pace and everyone is getting the ball in rhythm. Wow! He had 9 assists and many plays set up for the other players. Sergio was playing good defense tonight as well. At he end of one of the quarters Sergio and Fry stopped Rose from scoring.

Outlaw played good defense tonight as well.

Okay, ESPN is rebroadcasting the game right now. Is it wrong that I'm going to watch it AGAIN?

someone needs to tell jon barry to stop saying over and over again that greg oden is not a threat at all when he catches the ball in the post. just because he keeps repeating it doesn't make it true. sure he's rarely taken shots when he gets it in the post, but that's because the double comes and then he makes the correct play by kicking out to open players.

Tell me about it man. I was just at the game, then came home and watched it. I like to hear what the national media's opinions on the team are.

I don't know how many people noticed, but Jon Barry kept calling Bayless by the name Gerald or something to that effect with a D in it.

Juan Berry is horrible, just horrible. :ghoti:

To his credit, at least he said "right now" and "It'll come in time." I sortof agree with Barry that Oden isn't currently very aggressive in the post, the way a dominant post player is even against a double. But...it's a bit early in Oden's career, heh. ;)

He seems to be getting more comfortable, and passing out of the double team quicker. I just can't wait until he realizes that when he goes up for a dunk from 2 feet away, he can hold the ball with a death grip and very few players will be able to knock it loose.

He played one year of college ball with a bad wrist, before that he played against high schoolers. These NBA guys can knock the ball loose if you don't have a good grip on it.
