Source: DallasNews.com Very touching gesture. Various players are involved in charities so I don't want to downplay that, I just thought this was a somewhat unique and courteous act. Props to the guy. On a side note, no matter how the season turns out for you guys I think you have a bright future and have fought back well.
it's a nice story. romo seems like just a really good guy. though, i hope he at least gave him a meal or some money to buy some food in addition to the movie ticket.
People can hate on Dallas and its player for a variety of reasons. But I never understood how people could hate guys like Romo, Witten, Roy Williams (safety), Ware, etc. Romo did this... and in Cleveland, he pulled over to help a couple change their tire. Romo isn't cocky, he just enjoys playing. And by all accounts, he is a good guy. Stories like this just reinforce that. Witten does charity work in the Dallas area IIRC. Roy Williams does a LOT of charity work (IIRC, with single mothers). And Ware and his wife do charity work too. There's countless other examples on the team, too. I understand the hate this team draws. I hate Philly, Wash, and NY for example. But I don't actually think their guys (necessarily) are bad people. I just hate them on the field. Off the field, I am sure most of them are good people.
