    No. Still owes a healthy chunk of change on the winnings.

    I read an article years ago that most time the prizes are never taken off the 'stage', as people are unable to pay the taxes on the goods. It was a big topic when Oprah on a big show wound up giving a car to every one of her guests on that show.
