I don't know how many of care about JH's PER, but as of today Greg is second among centers in PER, trailing only Dwight Howard...Probably doesn't have a shot at getting up with Dwight this season but second place is pretty sweet if you ask me.

Portland's Rebounding Rate is #7. Don't know what it was last year, but I'm pretty
sure it was near the bottom.

Greg Oden - it's for what ails ya!

And Greg isn't (A) in good game shape yet, and (B) still adjusting to the speed of the game. Think about that for a sec.

I'd ask for a picture of the lovely Ms. Haarlow holding a sign that says, "Boob", but I wouldn't want HCP to get a black eye on my account.

    BNM

P.S. I really need a new screen name. I started out as TraderBoob on the ESPN board and changed to Boob-No-More when I moved to BBF. I was due for a name change when I moved here to S2, but was feeling terribly uncreative at the time and couldn't think of anything witty.

Greg is looking better than I thought he would right now. A few games ago I didn't think he'd be as good as Priz for awhile... now that seems pretty dumb. His rebounding is better than I thought, his scoring is better, he has quicker hands, isn't fouling as much as I thought... somehow he went from being overhyped... to underhyped... but he is already a monster. Get him in the starting lineup so he can get used to who he is playing with.

I don't care if it's jinxing it or not, but 12-18 years from now we'll look back at the career of Greg Oden and declare him the greatest Trail Blazer of all time. For all of the shortcomings people have pointed out in his game, I look at his work ethic and his willingness to sublimate his individual game for the good of the team and I can't see anything but banners hanging from the rafters.
