wow crawford on the go? he's been one of the more consistent players for the Knicks in the last few years.... does that mean Curry and Starbury are to see time in games for the Knicks?

    WoW!!!

There goes trading VC for Mobley and Thomas.

As much as I dislike the Knicks, this is going to be a great move by the Knicks.

They are clearing everything. They will be major players in 2010 even might be able to get 2.

Lebron made it clear he wants to go to a team that can win first. Cleveland has been clearing space they will become players in the FA market 18 teams and we too will become that. Consolation prize would be Dwayne Wade.

Nothing is etched in stone but Kiki and Thorn need to upgrade this roster to a winner. Wilcox, Gerald Wallace or Kaman can start that.

I think now is the time to strike - all these teams dumping to egt under the cap for 2010 - With Brooklyn a real question mark I really dont want to sacrafice 2 years only to end up with nothing. The team is much better than I thought - maybe Thorn can make a deal now and bring in a big time player or two in the midst of this jockeying. Gotta think the Knicks, Bulls and Heat have a bige edge over the Nets on Lebron, Bosh and Wade - plus the Cavs will have a ton of dough for JJ or anyone else - maybe a big move can be made now.

Who is out there that they could go after now that would be a missing piece?

Well it's now a gaurantee that Lebron goes to the Knicks in 2010, even IF we go to Brooklyn.

Well we are all wrong so far it's just Jamal Crawford to GS for Al Harrington.

rumors are Randolph will go in a seperate day today.

I hope it is Crawford they send out. He always kills us.

How many wing players do they need in GS?

Pretty much. They're trading Malik Rose for Harrington. Contracts are a wash. But I also heard they're dealing Randolph and Crawford and getting back Mobley, Thomas and Harrington in a 3 way deal with LAC and GSW. Bottom line is that Walsh is making moves to shed cap space in 2010. Those moves listed will give them tons of space. Enough for 2 max contracts possibly.

And I said this months ago and will say it again. The Knicks have and will always be THE prefered destination for LBJ over the Nets in Newark, the Nets in the swamps or the Nets in Brooklyn. Because it's MSG and to be the man in history who was responsible for bringing one of the NBA's most beloved franchises back to respectability. We may have the better team, but we have always been in the shadow of the Knicks; even when we had 2 back to back finals appearances. Call me a cynic, but if it came to the Knicks and Nets, I bet he chooses the Knicks.

As soon as the Brooklyn Arena was pushed back, that really killed my dream of having lebron in a Nets uniform. Now with the knicks finding people to dump their BS contracts. Can it still happen? Maybe, but I really doubt it. The Nets would have to be very good for the next two years and the Brooklyn Arena would have to be built by God in six days.

Imagine if the Knicks sign LeBron and Wade.

Maybe LeBron chooses Barclay's over MSG though. It has a lot of amenities.

Would be better off with Lebron and Bosh.

The biggest deterent to the Knicks getting Lebron is D'Antoni, if he is still the coach then. Lebron wants to win championships and everyone knows that you can't win that without defense.

This is a very good point, but like the Jay-Z rumors, there are also rumors that Lebron likes D'Antoni's style of play. D'antoni was also an assistant coach of the USA Mens Basketball team>

Every player likes the style... what's not to like? You score a lot, get a lot of stats, and play little defense.

In the end everyone knows you can't win a championship with that style

    Golden State swingmen:

    Stephen Jackson
    Corey Maggette
    Jamal Crawford
    Kelenna Azubuike
    Marco Belinelli
    Anthony Morrow
    Brandon Wright
Anthony Randolph (could be a PF, but he's a wing until he weighs more than 205!)

I thought we had roster balancing issues. LOL

Nelson wants to play only Gs. So get ready to see Jackson playing Center.

The New York Knicks have agreed in principle to send power forward Zach Randolph to the Los Angeles Clippers, two league sources said Friday afternoon.

The Clippers would send Tim Thomas and Cuttino Mobley to the Knicks for Randolph and guard Mardy Collins.
