I know everyone is ecstatic about VC and Devin but I want to talk about certain younger kids like Brook Lopez, what do you people that criticized him when he was drafted have to say now ? he can be a top 15 -20 big in the game by yr. 2 from all I'm seeing. Even under a horrible coach. And Ryan Anderson big ups to Kiki for finding a good bench option for the future.

How can you call Lawrence Frank a horrible coach after the job he's been doing this season? This team is 5-6, they beat Detroit, Toronto (away) and Atlanta (twice in two days). Those are 3 good playoff teams in the East. Not to mention the incredible plays he drew up today. He's been great.

I hate to admit it, but he has been great so far this season. I did not expect us to be 5-6 which is incredible considering all the new faces we have.

Could we have beaten Indiana, and Miami with Devin Harris (the teams we played when he was out)?

If so, then we'd be 8-3 right now.

    hmm...

I guess, but I was counting us winning at least one of those easy games against Indy & Miami and losing to Detroit, ATL and Toronto. So I was ready for a 2-9 or 3-8 record lol.

All I have to say is Jose got owned. He said it was over and it wasn't and now he looks like an idiot.

    Jarvicious Hayes is a beast.

He is doing a horrible job.

he almost blew yesterdays game with his stupid substitutions. We were ahead in the forth. The D help us make a run. Why do u put Simmons in instead of Hayes in the fourth?

Harris put us in the position to win, but VC saved this game in the fourth. As much as I have my opinnions of VC, I give game ball to him for stepping up late in the fourth. The swagger he showed after the dunk is what I want to see more of. He should kill the raptors everytime he plays them.

Well, I was actually quite angry when we tied the game with 5 minutes left before the Raptors went on that 7-0 run when we all thought it was over. Devin Harris was absolutely destroying the Raptors, and the next thing you know Carter goes back in and I think the next three posessions go 1. Carter jump shot-miss 2. Harris jump shot-miss 3. Carter drive or jumpshot, I think drive-miss. Why wouldn't you just continue to have Harris try and create? The long answer being that Carter won the game for us, and he needed to be put back in the offense. The short answer, if Harris continued handling the ball, would we have needed Carter?

Also, as I've alluded in other posts. My problem is we have all this talent and AREN'T taking ourselves seriously. I argued this when I said how much I hated Yi/Simmons, who by the way, still suck. Go ahead, say we are playing for '10 right now, but that's rubbish. Half the league is playing for '10, so be serious now. Teams who wait for free agents neevr succeed. It's one thing to wait on prospects you already have, or if you aren't talented at all, but don't diminsih your chances to wait two years for a free agent class.

    EDIT:

So I'm a bit upset with the coach, more upset with the front office, who have actually shown a proven of NOT being able to judge talent. Outside of RJ and K-Mart, our front office's draft picks have been riddled with Brandon Armstrongs, Antoine Wrights, Marcus Williams, etc. Players who the rest of the league can apparently pass up on, and we just go after thinking they are the best there. Don't even get me stared on the fact that they can't seem to figure out a bench. Hayes looks promising, and Dooling was 3 years in the making, and besides that our past 4 years of benches have been atrocious.

Coach frank coached a beautiful game. I have no complaints..

Most of the players played an fantastic game, and it was a good team win on the road. Was the win not good enough for you. This was a big win for the team and Frank. And another reason why he should remain as the coach for new jersey for a long time. He is an up and comming coach who works harder than most coaches in the league. He is also doing a great job of incorporating the youngsters into their first nba action, and is developiong them fine. Thats part of coaching as well. He managed the clock perfectly, and he took a young team full of rookies to a very hostile arena (via vc), and came out of there with a very, very, impressive win.

NO, i have no problems with Frank on this beautiful saturday afternoon....

I think Frank did a great job of coaching the game. Look at the defense he drew up when Parker or whoever it was couldn't get the ball inbounds in 5 secs. Like players, sometimes it takes coaches a few years to really get into their grove, find the right players they work best with, etc. etc. This could be Frank's "breakout" year as a coach, much like Devin is having already as a player. Not sure if that made sense, but I hope it does!

How many of those players were lottery picks? It's really hit-or-miss where the nets have drafted over the last eight years. Krstic was a GREAT pick, despite how it ended up. So was Boone.

Enter the 3 letters it tells you to and then click download. Then you will be taken to a page where you have to wait 45 seconds and then a download button will appear where the clock was ticking down. Click download again to start the download.

We wouldn't even have had a chance to blow the game if he hadn't led us back in it...I like how you blame him for almost losing the game but give him no credit for putting in the right lineup on the floor that would actually bring us back from 18 down.

From what I remember, Hayes was in the game in the final seconds and actually hit those two free throws, so I don't see where your complaint is coming from.
