How will he do with Brook Lopez on him? Kaman is one of the better Centers in the league; it will be tough for Brook to fight for rebounds. Are the Clippers show casing him?

He has Marcus friggin' Camby on him. If he doesn't go off for like 30, we have to be disappointed. Look for Yi to stretch out the defense to give Harris some more room.

Listening to some insider NBA talk and LA radio feed the Clippers are going after Vince Carter. They are trying to get partners to make the deal work. Whatever happens the Nets have informed they do not want to take on money over the cap since they want to be set for the 2010 mark.

 

Please, God, not the Clippers, especially now that they've acquired Randolph.

 

I don't think Montross would even wish that upon Carter.

 

I don't understand. I hope if it happens it happens right at the trade deadline if we're out of playoffs picture. But if we're in - why do we need to trade VC?
IMO it's obvious it's going to be almost impossible for the Nets to land any superstar if Brooklyn project doesn't work.

 

We can trade VC for Camby and Jason Hart

The Clippers' starting 5 isn't bad at all. I have no idea why they are doing so bad, even with Camby injured at the beginning of the season. This is definitely not a game to be taken lightly

 

Nets have to come out and win this game against the Clippers or the win against Toronto gets diminished a little. Frank has to remind them of that. They have to treat this game like a 2nd overtime against the Raptors. I don't want to see them take a step back and lose this game. Let's see some progress.

 

This is a must win.

The turkey trip has always sucked, I don't expect the Nets to come back .500 or above so they will need this one.

Alright, I'm being forced to post this here just to have a public, verifiable time stamp for the post because VCOnline is down (AGAIN!). I'm playing this VC stats game over there this year, and the site has been notoriously flaky. I've been trying to get in to post my stat predictions periodically over the last few hours, and it's still down, only 10 minutes before the broadcast starts. So here goes. Mods, please forgive and leave the post.

I don't like the Baron Davis-Devin Harris match up. Harris always gets abused by Davis.
