He's just saying that because he doesn't want the Bobby Simmons Era to end.

That's crap. LeBron would be great as his Pippen.

    I think it's reverse psychology.

SI’s Chris Mannix has done the math like everyone else and sees what the Knicks have done trading Jamal Crawford and Zach Randolph and why. But he writes after all is said and done, “the Knicks will not be the most appealing option” for Lebron James and other 2010 free agents. “New Jersey will have millions in cap room in 2010 and likely a much stronger talent base”.

The Nets have a lot more pieces than the Knicks do.

Unless the Knicks draft a healluva player in this years draft, they are pretty thin talent wise.

The Nets will have Brook Lopez, Ryan Anderson, CDR, Yi, Devin Harris, and 3 first rounders (maybe all lotto picks). I'm not sure if Vince Carter will still be on the team, too (and how that affects the dollars).

The Knicks will have Wilson Chandler, Jared Jeffries, Danilo Galinari, and Eddy Curry.

Nothing will change between then and now?

Of course things will change. But looking how it is NOW, the Nets minus LeBron look better in 2010 than the Knicks minus LeBron. It could get better for the Knicks or better for the Nets, so who is to say?

    For the Knicks, no.

They can't use that cap space until 2010. They only have one 1st round choice in the next two seasons. They will most likely lose David Lee and Nate Robinson because they don't want to commit cap to them. Danilo looks like a bad pick, 20 year old kid with a bad back.

Like I said before, they better make a great choice in the draft this year.

Jalen Rose said his sources told him both Lebron James and Chris Bosh will be Knicks in 2010. With that as a starting point, what you current roster looks like won't really matter.

Who cares what Jalen Roses's "sources" said...nobody knows what Bosh and LeBron will decide to do in 2 years. That's a long time.

Jalen Rose has an odd smile. It's like, always there. No way his sources for for real. And if they are, it's tampering.

Saw that comment by Jalen. No way by now is that a guaranteed. Saw ESPN where they had the poll asking where would Lebron land in 2010, even New Jersey voted for New York, and New Jersey was an option lol.
