YES YES YES! PLEASE RETIRE, then I can remove all the food from his house so he starves to death and while he's starving I will stand on his crotch.
Oh, that Ronaldo, he's alright, it would be a shame if he retired, he's still a decent striker

He is THE Ronaldo. The other one is not really Ronaldo.

I agree with that. He may be overweight and past his prime, but back in 1998 no one could touch his talent with the ball. Only Zidane was close enough to him except he wasn't nearly as quick.

Ronaldo was the bomb. Rooney could of developed into that sort of player, but he turned into a more holding striker.

Well he is on the free agent list at the moment. Along with players like Davids, I just don't like seeing legends retiring.

He should go to the MLS, and bring some money to the league.

This is something that I am not sure about. I think its retirement or MLS for Ronaldo. Looking over the MLS, I'm sure New York would be his preferred location, but they have Juan Pablo Angel who has established himself as club captain and one of the top players in the MLS. The Revolution would be a good fit for Ronaldo because there is a growing Brazilian population in the area, but I'm not convinced that I would want him on my favorite team. I know he's been great, but right now I think the injuries have just washed him up and he can't play anymore.

Its a shame as he's only 32 and would still be one of the world's best if it wasn't for his knees falling apart.

It really is sad that his injuries killed his career so early. Sad to see him go.

    I don't think so. He's still a free agent.

    M Two One Halló Veröld!

Apparently he received a contract offer from AC Siena of Serie A, but he turned them down. If he was smart, he would take it because as much as I respect the guy, he's way over the hill.

The question is whether he rejected the offer because he wants to quit or because he thinks he's too good for them? If it's the latter, bad mistake on his part.

I was actually the latter. This was reported on the Fox Soccer Report on FSC a few weeks ago.
