Oden shot 2-3, he was very ineffective due to foul trouble.

When he did look to score, all on Amare, he had his way with Stoudemire, backing Amare down on the block like as if he wasn't even there. That's when Porter took Amare out and put Shaq in. That's where it all went down hill for Mr. Oden.

In time, he'll learn to handle centers bigger than him- luckily there are only two- Howard and Shaq.

I think Oden can do what he did to Amare to any of the other centers in the league- certainly there is no one on the Lakers, Spurs, Mavericks, Warriors, Clippers, Jazz or New Orleans that can shut him down.

Also Oden only had three field goal attempts- had McMillan forced him to keep trying to score on Shaq, he might have had success eventually.

Oden only played 14 minutes. I would have liked to see him play until he fouled out.

Or what looks like a lack of motivation very well could be fatigue and a lack of confidence. I've got to think that as much as it's frustrating for all of us to see brilliance one night and less-than-average play the next night, it must just be killing him.

We just need to fast forward a couple of months to get through this roller coaster ride.

I think it was funny that Shaq dominated Oden, considering how much shiat we talked about Shaq in this forum earlier this week.. he he he.

Then, what was up with McMillen not putting Oden on Shaq anyway?

I thought his offense looked fine. We simply didn't play him much or give him the ball enough.

didnt read the whole thread but this caught my eye.... i remember reading an article in the oregonian and i remember reading that 90% of the time when oden was practicing he doesnt look motivated or whatever but when its game time its fuckin on for him.... and with all this crap from everyone tryin to get him down and its messin with him a little bit i say give it till at least half of the way through the season and he will have his way with 90% of the centers and whoever tries to guard him.... if you dont notice now when he even touches the ball in the post theres probably 2-3 people on him trying to get on him which is why he has half of those turn overs he has....

i think he just needs to get a move where he doesnt put the dribble before he goes in because it seems as soon as the ball hits the floor thats where he has problems....
