    Liar! They won by 26.

    Regardless, that's odd.

Foye with 23 and 14. Nice.

Wow, didn't see this coming. Great game by the TWolves, Foye was a freaking stud.

Anyone here think Detroit is suffering from chemistry problems? Because I sure do.

yeah....serious chemistry problems. The offense is so used to facilitating eachother and seem unable to adjust away from the style thier so used to playing. In the old offense everyone was involved, now it all begings and end with AI. It kinda sad seeing Hamilton running around like crazy (as usual) only to NOT be rewarded with shots....he's constantly moving around only to watch AI chuck up shot after shot. As much as I love AI and his scoring ability...he's much more suited for a less team oriented game...lol

That's what I've been thinking ever since the trade. Iverson is meant to be in an offense that can showcase him instead of being on a team that's meant to showcase teamwork. Iverson, in my book, epitomizes a selfish player. He has a reckless style and is always looking to get his before he looks to get anyone else involved, and that's his biggest flaw (aside from crap defense) and why I thought the trade was stupid to begin with. Oh yeah, he's also a horrid defender, which doesn't help his cause of fitting in.

true...but lets not get this confused...this was about the cap space they get after they let him go...with this trade it gave the smoke-screen of stayin competitive by getting a Superstar in return instead of youth and draft picks...unlike some other teams that have to build through the draft...Detroit has enough prestige to get players through free-agency. With AI they have both him and Rasheed coming off the books this off season. That's alotta cap space.

I don't want to really call him a selfish player, since he came in the league having to be the only scoring option....he's just programed to play like that...lol

Well, I said from the beginning that this was all about the cap space they'll get. If they hold on to it through this offseason, they'll have tons to toy with and throw at the likes of LeBron or Wade in 2010. My only quip there is that Detroit hasn't really been the most appealing place for big names, since it's not what I'd call a premier basketball market. Though, if players are interested in winning, Detroit wouldn't be a bad idea, which leads me to think they could be a darkhorse come 2010 if they hold on to that cap space.

yup, yup...I agree completly with you on that...although with the possible loss of Rasheed...and what looks like LeBron going to New York...it could come down to which out of Amare or Bosh that doesn't join LeBron in NewYork with thier 45 mil cap space...lol.

I see them making a strong run at Wade if Rip gets traded at the deadline

Seeing as how Rip just signed a 3 year extension, I don't think they have intentions on trading him...though I guess by 2010 that contract will be about up.

Speaking of Amare...unless he gets teamed with LeBron...I don't know if he'll leave Phoenix. They're going to throw huge money at him and will actually be able to offer more than anyone else. Bosh maybe...but according to Jalen Rose, he's going to sign with James in 2010 in NY...don't know how much credibility that holds...but take it for what it's worth.
