Anyone else think Detroit is having chemistry issues? I certainly do.

Not to rag on one guy either, but I really think it's completely due to AI. His style doesn't mesh well with the style that the Pistons play. From what I've watched, it seems like he's always more interested in shooting than setting someone else up. I see people like Rip working his tail off to get an open shot only for AI to take a contested jumper. The defensive chemistry isn't there either, mainly because AI doesn't like to play a whole lot of defense.

Anyone else's thoughts? I'm kind of an outsider looking in on this situation, since I'm not necessarily a Detroit fan, so I'm just curious to know what people who get to watch them every game think of this.

I've seen every single game since AI has been there. Rip has been playing TERRIBLY. he gets really good looks, and can't hit a jumper to save his life. I remember a sequence last night when Iverson wasn't even in, and the pistons got 3 offensive rebounds, all off rip misses. The guy obviously isn't playing well because chauncey isn't there but is that Iverson's fault? i dont think so. Rip needs to man up. Teyshaun, and sheed both found ways to play well.

Furthermore, i don't get where everyone is getting the idea that The offense begins and ends with AI and that he's been selfish in Detroit. Has anyone here even watched them play? I mean, clearly its chemistry issues, but i think that will get better as they get more time to practice together and whatnot. Since AI has been there all they've done is play games, these next couple days of rest and practice. should help them greatly. Heres a little proof about why AI is not as selfish as people have been saying. He takes LESS shots than RIP. I think the only problem here is they need to get to know each others style's better.
