I can see him going back to be head coach of the Kings. OKC with Durant and Westbrook would be interesting with the Princeton offense.
I think Reggie Theus is doing fine, right? OKC has an immediate opening, but the roster is a mess. He might want to wait before committing to that job.
Saw something in Yahoo where Kenny Smith said he thought Theus was on the hot seat. Just a media opinion so who knows how credible. However, I know sometimes when there is a past relationship (Petrie and Jordan) sometimes it doesn't take much to instigate a change.
I had a feeling this was going to happen. It is unfortunate that he was offered a job at Washington before we fired Scott. I would rather have him then Frank.
Thorn has as much a relationship with Frank as Jordan and Frank is doing a great job and has a plan in place that I don't see them wanting to fuck with. Frank with Carter, Harris and a bunch of young guys is doing way better than Jordan did with Jamison, Butler and a bunch of young players. I like Jordan but I think Frank is a little better due to his instance on the team playing defense.
then his team's 42% opponentage percent from the perimeter, and total points allowed are the second worst in the league now. His strategy is protecting the paint in the first, so that's why we always get fired on by the opponent shooters.
The team is young. Eventually they'll learn to get those rotations down and all will be well. There's times when they are getting it right and protecting the perimeter so I think it has to be due to the learning process.
They are 5th worst in points allowed and 6th best in points scored. That's a .500 team. The differential should improve as the team plays together longer. That's a good sign.
