I was going to post this in fantasy area, but nonone is in there at this time. I am sorry if this is not alowed but just was looking for some quick replies since in the am this trade goes away. I am on the fence as to accept this or not. I am in a 14 team league, so fa's are slim so most roster moves are done with trades. I am giving up Kidd, Garnett, and Felton and I will be getting back Baron Davis, Richard Jefferson and Manu. My team is lacking points but Kidd and Garnett are 2 big names to give up. Any inputs would be appreciated. Thanks
Well, I have heard that Garnett hasn't been putting up the numbers that he usually does. I don't think that will last. He should rebound to the KG we've seen in the last few years. I don't think KG puts up the super numbers anymore, but he's still solid. Kidd is hit and miss. Most of the time he sucks these days. Davis and Jefferson aren't bad, but Manu is a bit of a question mark. He is JUST coming back, so it could be a while before he gets his game back. All and all, I'd say that Davis, Jefferson, and Manu are worth more than Garnett and two point guards that aren't putting up the numbers. Felton is old news. I saw that DJ Augistin had a really good game the other night. Augistin is the future in Charlotte. Kidd just isn't the triple double machine that he once was. I'd say that Baron, RJ and a healthy Manu, long term, are better than KG.
Thank you for your inputs. Yes KG and Kidd are lessof an impact then they used to, and I agree I could care a less about incuding Felton in the trade.
You should be able to get more value for Garnet Kidd and Felton then that. Jefferson won't be as good as he is now and is in a crouded frontcourt in Milwakki. Redd hasn't been playing so hes getting some extra minutes and Charlie V was injured recently.
