Detroit was at Miami for what ended up to be a great game! Well, I am going to choose Wade for the Offensive player of the game just because he nailed the shot to win the game ( :worthy: ) and he ended up with 37 points, he shot 15-28 from FG and 7-9 at the line. He had 8 rebounds, 4 assists, and 1 blocked shot. Wade played 42:39 minutes in this game. My defensive player of the Game was Shaq because he had 8 rebounds, 1 steal, and 3 blocked shots. Another noteable was Gary Payton with 13 points. The Miami Heat scored 7 fast break points compared to Detroit's 12. Miami had 66 of 100 points from inside the paint. The Heat's biggest lead was 2 points which came with 2.3 secounds left in the game.
Yeah that was a shocker that Miami won. I thought Detroit had control of the game but Miami hanged in there. Detroit got too predictable with their offense and Miami just gambled for steals. Great win for Miami.
Detroit was in the lead for like the whole game. But at the end Miami was just unstoppable and pulled away with a big W.
That was a wicked game. We had the lead, but we blew it. I thought Tay would have pressured Wade more, but wow that shot was a killer. Tay had a open jumper too. The game was incredibly physical.
Can Wade get any more clutch? The kid is amazing did anybody see that 360 ally oop wow.He hit a clutch shot with 45 seconds left. Then comes right back and hits the game winner over Tayshaun's long arms.Great game. Its a preview of what we will see in the ECF.
I don't think Miami is guaranteed to make it to the ECF. The nets aren't bad but I would give the favor to the Heat. The pistons I felt had control of the game but somehow blew it. Wade was great but the Pistons should've won that game.

But yes, the Pistons controlled the game they just let Miami take control in the last three minutes of the game. And Wade's 360 alley oop was just sick.
Wade was unreal. I love what Scott Van Pelt said during the Sportscenter show...'Anderson goes for a layup and misses. WHAT ARE YOU DOING? Just give it to #3'The Pistons offense wasnt predictable, Miami's was. They had no sets late in that game. All they did was give it to Wade and everyone move the hell out of the way.
That's incredible. I get like 1/2" off the ground on a jump shot lol. Even wing-span couldn't get high enough to block it.
Wow! Wade was high in the air. And look at Tayshaun's feet. If Tayshaun was higher he could of easily blocked, or at least contested the shot alot better.
Wade is too quick for Tayshaun so Tayshaun is forced to back up a lot and is hard for him to block shots because of that.
I know this game is old news, but it was amazing. Dwyane Wade showed up the whole Pistons defense. Wade had a great game, especially on his 17 point spurt that helped them win.

Yeah that was vintage Wade. Everything was going down in the 4th quarter. Wade definitely is unstoppable on some days. You just hope he is missing jumpers.

You just hope he is missing jumpers.</div>well that was just the thing...delfino seemed to be not only keeping him out of the lane more effectively, but bodying him up better on the jumpers...the photo of that game-winning jumper is really telling...tay (whom I love, make no mistake) isn't really all that close to him. i say when i guy like that even starts showing the slightest sign of getting hot, you gotta get physical with him. not just a hand in his face on jumpers, but a body right there too. make him beat you at the line if necessary. let him know there's a price. delfino seemed like the only one willing (or able) to get up on wade in that particular game. after all they didn't have to stop him. but if just two of those jumpers don't go down, the pistons win the game and everyone's still talking about how the heat haven't been able to beat the elite, despite wade's best efforts, and how shaq more or less vanished in the 2nd half. then also delfino's absence in the 4th quarter just raises a whole other issue bothering us pistons fans: that has to do with flip's use (or lack thereof) of the bench during this remarkable opening run, and not only in tight games, but especially in blow-outs.
Don't forget also that the Heat are .500 team on the road. In the playoffs you got to be a really good road team. At least above .600.

(karl was actually using it to point out that his team had a long way to go).Turns up some interesting anomalies.
