I can't read that garble. Post it next time in a form I can read. All I could see is some 2003 line about Oden getting Punk'd by Oden. The rest lost my interest.
I offer my comments to FEZ and BrainInWA only so they don't take out their frustrations on their women (or men, or hand).
It was setting up the props to Joel. Sorry it didn't click for you. If you tell me how you're better able to read it, I'd be happy to help. Perhaps you should wait to regain your lost interest and finish reading the post you're planning on calling out before you actually call it out. Or not. Your choice. It does seem to detract from credibility, though.
Perhaps getting to your point would help. You seem to be a man of many words. The problem is, most people don't care to read them based on your past. So get to the point and then add your secondary points in subsequent posts. It's not like you are FEZ; you do have some very good opinions.
I'm not sure what "past" you mean, but ok. Like I've said before...sorry about that. I don't post on Olive for that reason; I try to put my thoughts and their reasons in one post rather than splitting it up over 4 or 5. Most there don't like it or pay attention to my posts, so I don't get discussion, so I don't waste my time. If it's becoming like that here, my fault. It's not natural for me to split the posts up, but if it adds to discussion I'll work on it.
I'm just saying ,you tend to put an extreme position in early in your post, and even if you are J.D. Salinger, it is hard to get past the extreme point if/when the rest of the post is read. Be succint. State your case. I've agreed with you on some things, but the extremist views tend to make me ignore at times.
Props to Oden for looking like a good player. Moved very well tonight and seemed much more at ease. Going to be a great player. g
Looky here, we should all listen to this brilliant advice that was put so "succintly" It is pretty sad when a dumb old bodyman with bondo dust in his brain knows that the word is spelled succinct.
Hey, it's a small sample size. We don't really know if Outlaw will ever be a good perimeter shooter until he hits 1000 of them in a season at a 50% clip, a third of them from half court, and Steve Kerr performs fellatio on him during the pre-game warmup. And even then, it better be for four or five years in a row. Until then, Webster is the better perimeter shot. Because, after all, his form is prettier (although not the accuracy), and we drafted him over Chris Paul because of that pretty stroke. In summary: We drafted Webster over Chris Paul because John Nash thought his shooting form was nice. We didn't do that with Outlaw. Ergo, Outlaw doesn't count.
Props to the team. This was a total team win. Everyone played a key role. Love this team. If I had to pick one person that stood out, it was Batum. Plays nothing like a 19-year old.
Might've also been because, so close to the Jail Blazer timeframe, it would've been tough to draft a kid that 2 months before had cheap-shotted a kid in the nuts on national TV. Probably not, but you can't discount those things in hindsight.
Great observation, and I've not been sold on Batum, but he is starting to look really nice lately. I'm just glad I never said he SUCKED!
Props to alcohol for clouding my mind and making me forget one of my favorite players. Props to alcohol for also fueling your righteous anger, I suspect. (If not, I'd hate to see you with a drink or two.)
