Is there a team that's worse than them in the NBA? They got pummeled again tonight...have lost 13 in a row...and have the NBA's worst record at 1-15. I'm sure everyone expected them to struggle, but did anyone really expect this? I expected about 22 wins out of them...they're on a pace for 5-77 record....which I'm relatively sure would be the worst record in the history of the NBA. Talk about putrid. At least Oklahomans have the solace of knowing that they have a couple good college football and basketball teams, because at this rate, the Thunder aren't going to be good any time soon.
They won't win just 5 games this season but they have a horrible team, no doubt. I wouldn't be surprised to see them end the season in the 15 win area.
they're cursed, shouldnt have fuked seattle over you bastards. im glad they're doing so bad, the team is run by assholes.
I agree that they won't win that few games, but with the way they're playing, they're making it look like a possibility. I'm with you though, I think a 12 to 15 win season is very likely...which by all means still epitomizes garbage.
I wouldn't say they're cursed, they're just a bad team. They have a lot of young talent on the team...but the key word there is young. No one on that roster really knows how to win ball games. They're chemistry is also lacking. Until they get some more experience under their belts, struggles are going to be there. I'm pretty sure that they'd be just as bad in Seattle as they are in OKC.
I'm not really disappointed with him. He's been playing out of position all season, which is part of the reason why he's been a jump shooter. With his move to the SF, I expect his offensive scoring numbers to increase because he's going to be moving around more and attacking the basket as opposed to be being a standstill jump shooter. As for the rest of his game, I don't know what to think yet. I don't know if he's ever going to get a lot of assists, because that's simply not what's asked of him. I think his rebounding will be better once he adds some size to his tweener frame...until then, he'll probably continue to be a very below average rebounder. As for defense, I have no idea. You'd think his length would help him out in that category, but at this point, he's a below average defender as well. I think that will improve with time as well though. Overall though, I can't really be disappointed in him this year when I didn't expect him to be much more than a scorer, and that much he's done and should do even better with his move back to SF.
I'm not disappointed in Durant. The whole team has depended on him to do everything so far in his short career. That's a lot of pressure, especially with the team doing so badly.
