Wow...took all of 10 games for him to mess up. Funny thing is is that he's been the one preaching about how they need to practice more to improve the chemistry, yet he's the one that skips practice.
Cap space, they didn't think they would win it all this year so it remains to be seen how the AI move turns out.
I still maintain that Dumars didn't give a shit about this year when he made that trade. Anything the team could accomplish would be a bonus, but he's too smart to not have seen the inevitable disfunction from bringing a player like Iverson to Detroit.
I'm sure Dumars was well aware of the potential issues this team could have encountered, which is why I definitely agree with you Chut. This move was made for thee sole sake of clearing up cap space over the course of the next couple years to land a hot-shot FA. Any success they have this year is just an added bonus, but in the end, this was just a cap dump.
So the Pistons are 5-5 with AI. Who would have thought going into this year that the Pistons would be a .500 club? I'm sure it wont end up that way, but what a horrible start after a trade. If I'm one of AIs teammates I'm pissed that he thinks he's better than the rest of the team. They have family too, who does his guy think he is?
