I've gone through the NBA schedule to pull out what to me are the best games. These games are all important, interesting, and almost guaranteed to be close or very close. What I choose: 1. Up and coming teams, which may or may not make the playoffs this year, but have a very good chance of being in the playoffs starting next year; examples: Bulls, Heat 2. Teams that are going to need every win they can get to make sure they make the playoffs this year: examples: Clippers, 76'ers, Pacers, Nuggets. 3. And obviously, games between any two likely later round playoff teams projected to be among the top 10 or so teams in the NBA this year; examples: Rockets, Suns, Cavaliers, Magic. What I avoid: 1. Any game where either team or both is playing on back to back nights is not going to make the cut. 2. Teams were expected by many to make the playoffs, but due to injuries or for any other reason are almost certainly now out of the playoff race; example: Warriors, Clippers (though I cheated a little for them) 3. And obviously, any game involving any building for the future, totally non-contending team; examples: Timberwolves, Grizzlies, Bobcats, Knicks MOST INTERESTING AND IMPORTANT GAMES COMING UP SOON Friday, Nov. 28 Atlanta at Toronto Miami at Phoenix Dallas at Lakers Sunday, Nov 30 Portland at Detroit Chicago at Philadelphia Monday, Dec 1 Miami at Golden State (I've given up on the Warriors but I probably gave up too early, so what the heck) Tuesday, Dec 2 Philadelphia at Chicago Detroit at San Antonio Toronto at Denver Wednesday, Dec 3 Phoenix at New Orleans Thursday, Dec 4 San Antonio at Denver Friday, Dec. 5 Portland at Boston Philadelphia at Detroit Sunday, Dec. 7 Boston at Indiana Portland at Toronto Monday, Dec. 8 Orlando at Clippers (What the heck, it's too early actually to say that the Clippers are out of the playoff hunt.) Tuesday, Dec 9 Toronto at Cleveland San Antonio at Dallas
