Has this been lingering for Drew? I was wondering because he runs/moves so much like Jamaal Magloire this season. Explosion is non-existent. Bone spurs aren't serious. He should be back in a matter of weeks at the very most.
He felt sharp pain after the Nets game. I guess depending on how it goes it could range about 1 week to 3 weeks, but knowing the Lakers medical staff it will be more like 6 to 8 weeks.
It's a loose bone spur, not just a bone spur. I wouldn't be surprised if they scope him to clean it up.
After all the shit Greg has gone through I can never wish an injury on a player from another team, even if he happens to play for the Lakers.
I am wondering how a floating bone spur is "day to day". I'd think that a quick 'scope would get Bynum clean and back on the court in less than a month. Without removal, won't it just continue to agitate and inflame the foot?
Is this any different than the foot injury Oden just had? He had to have a piece of bone removed as well, right? I guess it isn't the exact same thing, I don't see sprain or anything like that in the report, but I still find it interesting. I hope it isn't too serious.
Big men often have foot troubles. Nature of the beast, being so large and playing an athletic game. Hopefully, Oden and Bynum are generally healthy over their careers.
My mistake. I can never remember the details of injuries correctly, I always have to look them up. Is Bynum's worse then? I do hope it isn't too serious.
