Would you trade LMA/TO or Webs/Bayless for Bosh? Assume an extension or agreement can be worked out, may have to add Ike to make it work. I would do it. If they want cap relief too we could do Raef/LMA/TO or Bayless and maybe take a contract back.
Bosh is a MVP candidate this year. I don't see us getting him in any way shape or form. To be perfectly Honest the way hes playing i'd offer LMA, Rudy, Bayless and Outlaw for him and wouldnt be insulted when Toronto turned the trade down. IMO no way we get him without shipping out two of our BIG 3
I'd give them Roy and Aldridge. Bosh is one of my favorite players in the NBA. But I doubt they'd take it.
No, I still believe in LaMarcus. Give him a couple more years in this league, and he will be even better. I like our core we have.
I think every Blazer fan would do.. LMA/TO/Bayless/1st/Raef for Bosh and a contract they want to get rid of. But at the same time, he may be done in 2010 like LeBron and test the FA waters, so we'd have to be careful. But if he would sign an extension, i'd do it in a heartbeat. But Toronto wouldn't, lol. Nah, Frye is too much to give up. Switch Frye for Shavlick Randolph and you got yourself a deal! As long as Toronto throws in a first rounder.
My opinion is he will never be as good a Bosh, a notch lower. That's not bad give Bosh is top 5 and will be top 3 PF, LMA I din't thing will get that high.
Bosh has really taken off this year. I'd do it in a heartbeat. I think the Blazers could re-sign Bosh. James is a special case, as he seems very intent on New York. Bosh would probably be like most elite free agents...if he's happy with his current team and they offer him the max, he'll stay. Portland with Bosh instead of Aldridge would be much better this year and better in the future. This would be a perfect consolidation trade...giving up good players that are being squeezed out of the starting lineup, to upgrade our top players. But, as others have said, Toronto probably doesn't do it. I would, however, consider giving up Rudy in place of Outlaw or Bayless.
