I am betting a lot of you will say this is too much... but if you posted this on the Spurs forum, I bet you some would say it is fair. To the trade.

    http://www.realgm.com/src_checktrade.php?tradeid=4841182

Outlaw, Blake, Bayless and Webster for Parker and Udoka (picks if needed)

    Paker\Sergio
    Roy\Rudy
    Batum\Udoka
    LMA\Frye
    Joel\Oden

    Then the Spurs look like

    Blake\Bayless
    Manu\Finley
    Outlaw\Webster
    Duncan\Scrub
    Oberto\Scrub

Spurs would want to do this because they get a nice face-lift and some young talent. They lose 1 star and a guy who doesn't play much for 3 quality players and a nice prospect in Bayless. I would hate to get rid of Bayless but I would do this trade.

We would want to do it to clear some logjams and get our star PG. We also keep Raefs contract. Which I would not trade away (unless something amazing like Kwame for Pao came) and save the money to sign our guys in the future.

    What do ya think?

Bad trade for the Spurs. Parker is only 26, he's already an established star in the league and with TD and Manu aging, I don't see them trading him.

Yahoo's saying a trade could be just about completed between Portand and Memphis. It would be Outlaw for Conley with spare parts from both sides including Sergio, Crittenton, and Harrick.

Seems like a pretty good move for Portland, I just hope Bayless doesn't fall too far down the depth chart. I'm not sure what Memphis is thinking giving up their 2 you PGs and getting a SF when they already have Gay.

Wow are you serious?! You have a link? But Yahoo is not a very credible site.

Why would the Spurs do this deal? Your reasoning isn't very good. Parker is only 26 why would they want to trade a top-flight PG for Role players?

George Hill has been playing extremely well for them this season. Parker would be a huge upgrade, but I think he would cost Portland a little more than that.

They get 4 young players in return.

What about with a first round pick?

As long as Duncan is still playing I don't think the Spurs are going to be getting rid of Parker. With Ginobili having all his health issues, I could see them trying to trade him for some valuable pieces if they could. But how many teams would trade for an injury-prone 31 year old guy?

It doesn't work like that in the NBA. You don't trade a young established star for 4 young guys with no real reason. Yes, Duncan and Manu are aging, so why trade the only star on your team who isn't? If they do trade one of the three, it'll probably be Ginobili.
