we are going to get ALOT of people talking! we will be sitting pretty at 11-6, and if we can take 2/3 from pistons/wizards/knicks, we will be 13-7 for our nationally telivised game in Boston! hopefully Greg can put up a good game on TV.

after the boston game is an away game in toronto which we can win too, but then....11 of the next 14 at HOME!!

i would be estatic if we could get to 22-11 or so, that would be BEYOND great.

who thinks we can do it???!!!!

well, it's definitely do-able! Getting past NO tonight will be a great first step then the Pistons will be a hurdle too. But, at the end of the long home stretch if we can end up anywhere from 19+ wins we would have done a fantastic job.

Toronto vs. Portland will be sick. Toronto is winning for sure. Bosh is taking it to the rim every time. No one is stopping him.

How is Toronto winning for sure when they are a .500 team?

Other than the 30 fouls put up by Oden, Przy, LMA, Frye and Diogu. I've only seen a couple of the games, so I could be talking out of my hat, but hasn't he done a good job of getting the starters into foul trouble and then lighting up the backups?

Our backups are pretty capable of hanging, imho. I'm not saying we'll hold him below 20, but if JO is out and it's Barg and Bosh up front, I'm not fretting too bad. Should be a good game.

I think that the way Bosh is playing, he'll take over that game. Not to mention Jose will have a field day because Blake is not the best defender. Parker will have a hard time with Roy, and Bosh should be able to handle LMA. On offense we're set, especially if JO plays.

I cannot wait for that big stretch of home games. That'll be great for this team.

And we owe Toronto some payback in their gym after last year's loss, where Travis had that four-point play and Brandon hit a 30-foot 3-pointer to tie the game. Unbelievable game...

If we can get to 10 games over .500 heading into the new year... that'd be fantastic.

And likewise, Jose can't guard guards either. Jose is definitely better though, there's no denying that. I think the Blazers bench should be able to handle the Raptors bench.

And at all times Oden or Przy are on the court, so someone is always protecting the basket.

Idk. If you think Toronto will win, that's fine. But for sure? That seems like a stretch.

sergio knows all of calderons sneaky spainish tricks. so there goes that advantage. Bosh and LMA both are from Texas, so they will negate each other as well. Oden would have been the #1 pick the year yall got bargnani, so thats a wash, and Batum is going to go out drinking when he gets there, road trip to montreal, so he can woo all the ladies with his french and he can legaly drink there, so that means kapono will have an off night. graham/hassan/moon are all going to be drooling over outlaws bball iq and become fully enraptured with fryes blogging skills., and humphries and AParker are going to be in the locker room arguing about who is darker.

basically that leaves roy/rudy vs will solomon/roko ukic. ill take my chances.

This start has been a complete surprise for me. The only thing that would make it better is if I didn't have to watch pirated streams of Comcast to watch the games!

At this point, Dallas and Golden State are the teams that seem to be the ones to keep an eye on in terms of getting a playoff spot. Both started slowly, and both have some major holes that could make this season a struggle for them.

I know this falls under "crazy Homeristic", but I think we just need to worry about DEN and Utah. Scoreboard watching against the Southwest isn't going to be as fun as staying up at the Division lead. The 2nd place team from our division gets in, IMO. Third? Sketchy.

I like our chances of being the 3 seed.

I have no problem with winning the division, but first I'd like to see the team make the playoffs. Then, the division is fair game and I would be watching closely.

If Utah and Denver start to slip and look like 7/8 seeds, I'll be watching them as I watch Dallas and GS at this point of the season.
