i think his record speaks for itself.... even though i was glad he was releived as Jersey's coach, i have to admit he's doing well with the hornets. Maybe he learned a lesson from that and he's doing quite well now.
Cant speak on th X's and O's, but numbers are numbers. He has been a very successfull coach in his career. Helped take the Nets to back to back finals and has taken perenial losers like the Hornets from the bottom to the top of the West. Granted he has to have the best PG in the game (both with the Nets then Hornets); but you still need to credit the coach as well.
The Hornets are seriously underachieving and pretty much the only thing Scott's good at (then and now) is putting his point guard on the floor. He lost his players here and he's losing or has lost his players there. I take it back- he's also good at riling up his players through the media, but that has as many negative consequences as positive ones.
