I was just watching ESPN and apparently he's not happy and wants to be 'the man'.

He's a bit of an egotistical maniac but is a significant, IMO, upgrade. He can hit the mid-range jumper and slash. It would take LaMarcus/Bayless/ect/ect. to land him but it's worth a look at.

And then he'd come to the Blazers and fight to be the man between he and Brandon? I love Amare's offense and he's defintely an elite player, but I foresee chemistry problems adding a guy like him.

Winning cures everything. If you could plug Amare into the starting SF spot, the Blazers would probably be a lock for homecourt in the first round.

Wow. Unfortunately, I'm not sure he would fit with Portland - attitude-wise. Just doesn't seem like he has a team-first philosophy. Heck of a PF though.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Phoenix hasn't had much trouble winning in recent years, no?

As for him playing the small forward, I can't see it; he's a very quick power forward, and has OK range on his jumper, but he is no 3, except perhaps in some kind of gimmicky, unorthodox lineup that might play together for 4 or 5 minutes a night.

I don't know if he and Roy would have beef, but I don't see Amare mixing too well with Nate. It would be like Z-bo pt 2.
