Al Harrington will probably score 50.

It's not looking good. Isn't this the 4th game in 5 days for the Warriors? In their defense, that's pretty rough. I hope to see Nellie just go for broke tonight and play Biedrins/Turiaf with Wright and Randolph together. Starting lineup of Crawford|Jackson|Randolph|Wright|Biedrins, Maggette off the bench. What they have been doing is obviously not working, time to blow it up.

I just laughed to myself when I realized I wrote "their defense".

Watch Nellie put Azibuike on Harrington the whole game, and put Mags on David Lee.

    Watson
    Crawford
    Az
    Jax
    Mags

Harrington abuses Az for 50 in the paint but Nellie refuses to play Beans/Turiaf/Randolph/Wright

    Mags + Jax = combined 7-32 FG

Biedrins vs Lee would be a cool match-up to watch.

Look for JC to have a big game in his return to New York.

We might actually win this one since the starters got some rest in the game last night when they say on the bench during the fourth.

Knicks have scored 60 points on us halfway through the second quarter, holy crap. Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.

I just turned on the game. Randolph, Turiaf, and Wright are bench fodder. FU Nelson!!!

Nelson f***ing sucks. Anthony Randolph was the spark that led them to cut the lead down to 10. For no apparent reason, he benches Randolph and goes small and bang! within a couple minutes the lead is back to 20 because the Knicks are scoring at will with Randolph not ther to defend inside. Damn it Nelson pisses me off, I've had it with this clown.

I'm speechless. How is Nellie screwing this up so bad?

    Awful game.

Biedrins looked beat again. I remember earlier in the season he was everywhere, in on every rebound and doing so much. This road trip he has just been out of it. But he does need a lot more help than what he is getting.
Azubuike also looked lazy and not interested in rebounding, though he was basically the PF on the team. This was not good news.
Maggette needs to get rid of the ball. I hate watching him try to be a guard.

The defense sucked. It was about time that Nelson changed it up and used a zone or something different. The change of defense in the second half, actually helped.
Nelson should have replaced Biedrins with a big like Turiaf for just about the whole game, not just the few minutes in the 4th quarter. I agree with the Anthony Randolph comment; he should have stayed in there.

On a side note, I liked how Jim and Bob were beating up on Harrington. But too bad nobody on the Warriors cared to slow him down on the court.

Two more things that are horrible to watch on defense is how everyone just reaches in blindly for steals and they can't play the pick 'n roll well. I think that goes on Nelson's defense, or perhaps the team's lack of ability to execute his defense (but I am leaning toward the defense Nelson is trying to use).

Okay, I will finally agree with those of you who are ticked off with Don Nelson. This game was a fuckin barf bag. Tonight, Don Nelson looked like a fuckin doofus. This was about the most poorly coached and poorly played game in the history of the NBA.

This is the ROCK BOTTOM of the season.

I was joking above when I predicted the line-up with Azubuike and Mags at PF and no Wright/Randolph/Turiaf. But WTF???? Was he serious?

Tim Thomas and David Lee and Wilson Chandler DOMINATED the Warriors inside with a 59-48 Rebounding ass-whooping.

If you're seriously not going to play Wright alongside Biedrins in that situation, then you're a fuckin ass-munch, Nellie.

Just when Randolph begins sparking this team, you pull him. You start Belly and pull him without a chance. You put in Wright only to pull him in a moment's notice. You play Maggette and Crawford 42 minutes each, even though they are not making their teammates any better.

Maggettee is the ultimate stat-monster on a losing team. He does everything to put up 20 points, yet also does everything he can to make his teammates worse. He is the ultimate garbage-time scorer on a losing team (see Clippers), only he plays that way during meaningful minutes when the season is still young. OMG!

I would HATE to play alongside Maggettee. He's worse than Baron in that regard. I knew it was a mediocre deal when it was done. Now I know it was an awful deal. He'll have nights where he'll score 30, yet, as long as Maggettee stays on this team, they have NO CHANCE whatsoever of ever making the playoffs. Period.

Mags = +1 in the Loss Column

Brandon Wright played 6 minutes! Is Nellie on some little highschool panty-in-a-wad ego trip or something? i used to think that was all bull, now I think he's just intentionally making the worst-possible coaching decisions possible, just to spite Mullin.

The Knicks looked fuckin fantastic tonight!! Amazing!! The Knicks!! They just sh!t on Nellie and his band of spirit-less "Warriors"

It's funny because I'm ranting and raving, yet I'm not being dramatic. It's just true. This is weird.

I feel sorry for Biedrins. He looks plain beat-up and he's getting NO help from Nellie. Asking Maggette to get Biedrins' back is like asking a dog not to eat a glob of peanut butter right in front of its face. You can ask, but it ain't going to happen. Maggette just plain let Beidrins down, time and time again.

Some of the most despicable defense I've ever seen.

The 13-win season Warriors still played better defense than this.

Maggette threw an indifferent behind-the back-pass to Azibuike with about 2:30 left in the 4th quarter, GS down 10 points. It was a careless, "this game's over anyway" type of pass that Az had to stretch to save from going out of bounds. MAggette kind of had that smirky look like "it's all fun and games." The problem was that the Warriors still had a chance to come back and he's already mailing it in with his attitude. This from a guy who was supposed to "set the tone" in the locker room with his work ethic. He's setting a tone, alright: Get your points and get out. Fuck your teammates and Fuck the win-loss column. Get yo' points, playa. That's all that matters.

    Go Warriors! [IMG]

I think it was around the Bulls game or the Washington game I started really getting ticked off at Nelson. The guy has gone senile thinking he still has the same team from his Baron Davis seasons.

We have size this year! Use it! Oh that's right, he doesn't know how. Good luck with Mags, Azu, and SJax at PF with Turiaf/Wright getting 15 minutes combined at mostly center rather than PF.

Are we the worst team in the league right now? A month ago I would not have believed it would be possible. Other teams may have less talent, but I've not recently seen such an unfocused collection of muddled crap. No direction, no vision, no desire, no heart. Even the Clippers won last night. What a long painful year it's going to be, culminating in yet another draft pick we can't make work for us. :sigh:

Al, Pietrus, and Barnes played a lot of PF last season. I guess Nelson believed that Azubuike and Maggette could play the same as those three on defense and rebounding, along with the outside shooting. Unfortunately it seems as none of the three are happening this season.

It looks like it's time to change things up.

One more thing. New York scored a record setting 82 points in the first half. Nelson could not figure out how to stop them. He is the Homer Simpson of head coaches in the NBA.

Could the signs be any worse? Warriors get torched by Duhon with 22 assists. Chris Duhon!!! Make him shoot; even a layup. Go under the screen, give him the 10 footer. Awful. There were only 7 in uniform.

This is like Adelman where there was a total lack of effort.
